Paintings

The selected large scale paintings are seen as formal and spatial experiments that explore an interaction between the body and the space that houses the work. Individually the work consists of a field condition of applied color that influences formal development. Within the layered depth of the color fields, collage material (aggregate lines, paper, etc) define new forms and spaces. One can experience each piece individually although the translation of the work is heightened when positioned in proximity to the other canvases.
