The primary building system for the shelter components are sheet steel digitally cut and assembled on or off site. The shelter will be bolted to the foundation footer at two points along the structure: under the main media/art cabinet and under the media tower. Glass panels that run along the back of the structure will slide into a groove on both sides and top, and will be held along the bottom by two steel members bolted into the ground. These structural members will also hold the bench. The roof will be comprised of thin lateral steel profiles that hold transparent solar panels. The panels are inserted at an angle to maximize the efficiency as well as allow for drainage. Water will flow along slope and drain within the media / art cabinet and out the bottom rear of the structure
